If the experience is the best teacher...

Markettiers4dc are very proud to announce their 2010 charity of the year is Help for Heroes.

The organisation, which was launched in October 2007, provides direct, practical support to wounded Servicemen and women and we are delighted to be able to ‘do our bit’ to show these extraordinary young men and women that they are cared for.

Help For Heroes

The first project we will be supporting in January will be the release of Heroes! The Greatest War Movies Ever! which aims to raise at least £1 million which will go towards building new Army Recovery Centres (ARC). Soldiers who are wounded in the service of their country currently receive excellent medical care, however it is once the soldier has stopped being an ‘inpatient’ that problems can arise.

Most wounded soldiers are able to return to their homes, but not all families can provide the level of support, supervision and care needed to help someone who has a serious injury.

In addition to the pro-bono campaign work throughout the year we will also be fundraising through our regular client workshops.

We run workshops on all aspects of the Broadcast Communications mix to give you the opportunity to find out exactly how to benefit from radio, TV and the web as well as gain a detailed understanding of how these three media are developing.

Workshops are available on Broadcast PR & Evaluation, Broadcast Opportunities in Social Media, Effective Use of Research.

Each session aims to give attendees valuable advice and tips on how to make the most of your campaigns.

We have set up a Justgiving page to allow client’s attending our regular workshops to donate a minimum fee of £50 per place (discounts will apply for multiple bookings from one company).

Workshops are very informal and, according to the feedback we've had, as well as being highly informative, are great fun. We hope that you will look upon the small donation as recognition of the value and benefit gained by them.

For more information on our workshops contact andy@markettiers4dc.com or your account handler.

markettiers4dc did a great workshop for our whole team which was really thought provoking on media channels and on the integrated use of broadcast tactics across both traditional and digital platforms. It was a great session and we would definitely do it again.

Many thanks for the workshops; their interactive, informative and informal format gave us fresh food for thought in a rapidly shifting market.
Samaritans

Thanks so much for the training last Thursday. It was a very informative whirlwind tour of the world of online PR and converging media; it was esp. good to hear about some real online PR instead of just having meaningless blurb flouted at you, brandishing the words podcast and blog without thinking about the ramifications properly and about the larger picture.
bgb communications

Many thanks for the workshop - it was excellent.
